Starting the Journey

Happy Friday! I have to stop and think to figure out what day it is.   We just got back from our two hour drive from Dallas.  We met with Dr. Bavare. She is an oncologist who specializes in pancreatic cancer also.  Her news was the same as yesterday's doctor, Dr. Berrera.  Dr. Bavare has a clinical trial that Pat can qualify and it is stage 2.  Dr. Berrera's trial was stage 1.  Phase 1 focuses on the safety of a new drug with under 20 patients.  Phase 2 focuses on the doses up to 50 patients and Phase 3 is geared to just one particular kind of cancer.  After Phase 3 it goes to the FDA for approval.  Also, Dr. Bavare does not offer any kind of nutrition in her practice or with her trials.  Now we focus on Tulsa and pray that this is the program God has for us.  We are headed to the ranch.  Hope you have a great weekend!  Before I sign off, I just want to remind you of something you have heard many times.  Cherish each day.  Love each other....your life can change in one moment.  Hugs!
